A private AI practice

AI,
handled.

I find the few places in your business where AI can produce a measurable return, build the systems, prove the result, and keep them working. You never have to manage the technology.

One workflow / one baseline / one measured result
The premise
Most of what is sold as AI is noise. Part of what you pay me for is knowing where it earns its keep, and where it does not.

A fully automated service is a commodity racing to zero. What you are buying here is judgment with AI speed, and one accountable person. The premium is the human.

Real estate & investing

Open the three deals worth your time, not all thirty.

Illustrative / Your Monday screen17 deals arrived. Three match your buy box. One needs you today: the debt assumption and insurance estimate conflict with the model. Sources linked.

Deal screen

Only the deals worth opening. Offering memoranda, rent rolls, models, and broker emails are checked against your buy box. Exceptions and source pages reach you.

Investor reporting

Updates drafted from current numbers. Missing inputs and inconsistencies are flagged before an LP or partner sees them.

Portfolio view

One private view over every holding. Property, investment, and operating-company data become an owned intelligence layer you can query in plain English.

The system

One operator. Four ways to remove a constraint.

The answer might be an operating system, an automation, or custom software. It is shaped around the result, not a package off a shelf.

The core

Owner brief & follow-through

A private operating layer for the recurring work that fills your head: inbox triage, draft replies, meeting briefs, and follow-through. You stay in control; nothing involving clients, money, or your name moves without approval.

Illustrative / 7:12 AM / Morning briefThree things need you today. Everything else is already moving.
How we work

From constraint to measured result.

Step 01

Find the constraintFree / 30 minutes

We decide whether there is a consequential problem worth solving and whether Palanca is the right operator for it. If not, I will say so and point you somewhere useful.

Step 02

Set the baselinePaid audit / 1–2 weeks

I map how the work moves today, establish the number that matters, and rank the few viable interventions. You keep the roadmap whether or not I build it.

Step 03

Build, prove, runFixed fee / retainer

I build the highest-value fix, test it against your real work, and measure what changed. Then I keep it watched and improving as your business evolves.

Operating method

Constraint → baseline → build → proof → run. One thing at a time, with a number we agree should move before any technology is chosen.

Control

Approval first

Money, clients, and your name always route through sign-off.

Record

Fully reviewable

Every action is logged, so you can see what happened and why.

Proof

Measured before and after

Before launch, each system is tested on real past cases. After launch, the result is compared with the agreed baseline.

Care

Monitored after launch

Once live, agreed checks surface drift so I can address it with you.

Fit

For a particular kind of owner.

Works best for

  • Owners and principals with recurring operational and knowledge work.
  • People who built the business to buy back their time.
  • People who want a problem to disappear, not a tool to learn.
  • People who care about discretion and keeping their data their own.

Not designed for

  • Anyone who wants to learn to build this themselves.
  • Price-shoppers or large multi-team software rollouts.
  • Work requiring formal compliance certification or contractual uptime guarantees.
The operator

I am Diego S. Ding. Before this I spent more than a decade in global health and international development, leading research, data, and evaluation work across dozens of countries.

That work taught me to start with the decision, define what success means, and distinguish activity from evidence. Palanca brings the same discipline to business systems: launch is not the finish line; a result is.

Over the past year I have devoted myself to AI, building daily and deliberately and shipping real software end to end: web and mobile apps, databases, and always-on systems.

What you get is my full attention. Your data stays yours, never resold and never used to train anything, and the work is done by me rather than handed to an anonymous team. Read the data-handling principles.
